Default S475 T6 turbine housing requires port matching to RPS T6 flange?

my RPS SS T6 flange with mounting tab came in and when i overlay it on the turbine housing, clearly A LOT of porting is required. I have the S475 88/96 turbine on a 1.10 A/R housing. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I should be totally fine if i port match it, right?

Once you poke the pipes in and weld them up, it will be different. I'd wait until you are further along.

What Ron said....use a piece of scrap from your crossover fabrication... shape it to fit inside the opening of the flange then see how close its going to be. Youll only end up taking material off the 2 outside edges.

What would happen using a fully open T6 flange vs a divided one like this? I have a similar turbo with a open flange and merged 2.25" pipes.

Build the crossover first, portmatch 2nd. The tubing will make up some of the area, you will taper then entrance on the outside edges just slightly.

I had some scrap mild steel 2.25" from the previous X-overs for the PT88 and i thought that dia would be a tight fit in the RPS T6 flange, it is not, LOL.

After doing what liljohn said, youre right, it will only require a very minimal clean up. I invisioned the tubing to butt up against the T6 flange rather that fit inside the rectangle with room to spare.
