Default Good scavenge pump?

Well I'm getting tired of screwing with the "gravity drain". Just wanting advice on good scavenging pumps that will work good and last? Give me as much info as you can and part #'s if you can please! Thanks

Yep...Turbowerx Exa is the way to go.

Pretty much any other pump....there are bad reports.

Exa seems to have none. They're good quality, mine only draws around 4-5A, it's pretty quiet and you can mount it any position you want.

Most of the others seem to insist on vertical mounting.

I'm going to try out my gravity drain one more time, but to me even with my new lower profile fittings it looks like it is going to have to go uphill first to me. If I don't have success this last time I'm going with a scavenge pump.

I think I may need a mini one if I end up going with one. Will the exa mini be good enough?

Mini is supposed to do everything the Exa does...just smaller.

I ran the exa pump on my previous, low mounted turbo (S2000) with zero issures (~15k miles). Nice choice!

I would presume the bigger one ultimately would be under less stress and motor longevity be better, perhaps also draw less current.

But yes I'd agree if the smaller one did do everything the same in a smaller package, why would you go big ?

I didnt need a small pump, the large one was fine, so I just bought it.
