Thanks. I will probably do the dragon slayer. Just dont know about rods. Seems like I see a lot more issues out there with the billet I beam than any of the cheap h. How much where those?

For anyone curious, got the motor out and looked at. The .200 wall piston pin on on #7 was bent. Bearing looks great, probably toss a new on in for good measure.

The top ring on #7 got lil hot, and we will be replacing that as well. Hope to be at the track by next weekend!

Did you have the rear steam ports blocked?

No, four corner system, with distribution block up high returning back to the top of the water pump.

I am not, I need to add one though so if this happens again it doesn't lay coolant on the track.

I have an overflow but isn't very big.

If your bending wrist pins, are you sure the tune is fine?

Coolant in that cylinder and then compressed. Something had to give.

Tune question is valid for the torched head though in the first place.

Anyone going to midway shootout at CFR how much does it cost to run all day or to just test n tune, what time does the event run, how much does it cost to spectate, and can you just show up and run or do you have to talk to the organizer or be on a list?

I don't have facebook but from what I could tell when the page loaded there were no prices. I'm trying to get some people to come spectate at least but hard to get them to come when I have no idea what it costs.

10 to spectate, 55 to get a car in with one crew, 50 for pro street buy in, 40 real street buy in, 35 bracket buy in, or test for 25. So to test it will be 80.
