At the time I could not locate a bracket that would push the alternator back to the 4 rib portion of the balancer. ECS was the only one I knew of and everytime I callled for one they said they didnt have any in stock. The last call to them they said they were no longer making them.

I can get the belt really tight right now. I dont think it needs to go any tighter but if it does I can definitely tension it some more.

Tuning couldn't be completed. One of the fuel pumps stopped working. The graph showed fuel dropping off in the 4k range. Swapped in two aermotive stealth 340's and will be taking it back to finish tuning this week. One of the partial pulls from memory showed 690 tq around 4800 rpm at 15lbs.

Took a couple of pictures after I added my radiator shroud I made. Drove the car for the first time. Sounds freaking cool.

I can't believe how sexy your car looks. The CCW wheels really seal the deal for me.

Yep his car is as sexy as every and looks even better with the blower in the engine bay. Made some nice torque at 4800. What are planning to rev it to once the issues are sorted out?

Car looks good nice job ! I'm curios to see what power your set up makes with the f1r, what pulley combo did you go with.

I have a 4" blower pulley and the crank pulley is a 10% overdrive. I'll be honest I have no idea what it is gonna make or if it is gonna survive

Your car looks and sounds amazing! I actually like the idle Procharger sound. I guess some don't or find it annoying after awhile.

It should be standard all Procharger kits have a bracket that positions the unit up top. :::hint hint::: Procharger

Few questions.

Where did you get the bracket for your battery?

I have never heard of tapping into the water pump to the head for a steam port. What does this do? I imagine it just relieves built up pressure?

Was it an option to get a black F1 head unit from Procharger? Or did you just buy a satin unit and paint it gloss black?

Car looks great man.

Battery mount is made by Artec Industries. Tapping the water pump was easier for me than having something welded on the radiator. The procharger was polished and I powdercoated it. I think it is an option now for some procharger dealers to sell them coated black.

About your steam ports, did you just connect the front ones to the water pump?

What is the benefit of going to the water pump vs. back to the radiator?

Im using a stock ls1 steam vent line that connects all 4 corners. Not sure if there is any benefit of going to the pump but i have seen others do it with no ill effects and it looks better to me than running a hose to the radiator. Plus my radiator didnt have a fitting for it.

Update to this old thread. Damn didn't realize it has been two years since I started this build. Overcame a lot of hurdles and bugs along the way. There was a lot of time that passed and the car sat untouched because I would get pissed at it.

Anyways Mike@G-Force Motorsports took care of me. Id like to thank him for his patience because the first couple of times I brought it to him for tuning there were bugs and gremlins that I had to sort out.

I drove the car up there Weds after changing plugs and oil the night before and had not driven the car in several months. Mike strapped the car on the dyno and made several pulls and adjustments and these were the final numbers on my 4.5" pulley. Gonna enjoy it for a little bit then probably throw the 4" pulley on it. This was done on meth and 93 that I got from the corner store.

Yes sir. If I remember correctly one of the first pulls the tq was something like 800lbs. I had a slight misfire appear and while checking plugs and installing new wires I unplugged I disconnected one of his and didn't get another tq reading. My mistake but not really concerned about it. Last time I brought the car a couple of months ago it also made 800lb/tq.

That's awesome setup man. I am on the fence so much about where to put my blower. Piece together a kit like you did or mount it down low like all the other ones. Really wanna do up top though.

Have you driven the car at speed? I found without the center hood latch, the hood flexed a lot, and made me nervous, so I put a center latch on mine and it got rid of the shimmy shimmy shake.

Nice numbers by the way.
