Default procharger guys or mechanics

so im having to change my alternator out bc it quit charging my batter and im taking the procharger off the j bracket and it seems like the T40 is to small and the T45 is to large for the bolts connecting the two (Is there something between t40 and t45).... im the one that installed the unit a couple years ago and im almost positive that i used a t40 and it seems like its going to strip the bolts out

Its probably torx plus they are the same size but with thicker star points. Cat uses them alot on their diesel engines. See pic for specifics.

The top bolts are never fun, but you get used to doing the quarter turn routine.
