Help choosing intake
Eventually I will have a turbo(or 2).
Engine details: 04 5.3 iron block, 243 heads(will be ported by AI), will have the CR 9.5-10:1 if possible, custom cam by Martin once all details are sorted out. I don't like the look of the plastic intakes. I am torn between the Pro Flo or Super Victor intake, I just don't want it to be a total pig down low while I am N/A.
This is in an 85 C10 backed by 4l80e and built 9". I plan to put a lot of street miles on it with the occasional trip to the strip. I will drive it N/A while I collect parts for a fuel system upgrade and turbo build(s475)

I have a good friend that runs a Pro Flo intake on his 5.3 and has been 5.12@139 in the 1/8th with a 76mm turbo@3250 lbs.
Definitely works well on that combo. As far as how it will work while it is N/A, I don't have any reservations regarding low end torque if the camshaft is ground correctly for the application.
