thanx for the info, i'am building a 68 step 6.0, s475 th400(no reason for OD around here) and a 3.55 gear or 3.45 . Seeing yours going 10:1@133 gives me hope that mine will go 9's !!

Yes crank the boost. ..9's no prob. With 315/60s I was trapping 3rd gear at 6100rpm....I think the steppers are a bit lighter too. Good luck with your rig.

Engine/drive trane is Same setup as last year. Only thing ive done this winter is put on the driver side inner fender. Im still working the passenger side inner fender.

I haven't use the 3rd gear mod since last lear at track when it went 10.1

I'll head to the track in a few weeks kinda busy with my 3wk old baby boy.

Yes we were cleaning up the tune. that 13:1 was the first pull then ended up adding more fuel. She is down to 11:7 now

Looks good man.. Still shocked at the weight, just weighed my 69 stepside with as iron lq4 and it's 3560 with no driver and just a TH350. Be careful now that you have that new bby!!! Those trucks are death traps at any kind of high speed..

Death traps? I dunno, my 70 stepper seems fairly stable at speed, but I've only been a little over 100mph. All new steering components, bushings, etc. Drives nice actually! (Redhead steering gear FTW)

Awesome truck man, nice job!

Thanks. Baby Nash is awesome. He was cruzing with me in the truck last night out to get ice cream.
And yeah I don't think ill be doing many more 3gr street pulls. 150 was a bit scary. Ill save it for a track run in a few weeks

I still love your truck, I'am getting closer but still $$$$ away from done . I am lucky that my buddy has a turbo 6.0 in a 91 Camaro , so we are learning the MS3 on his and by the time mine is running we should be able to just program mine and be really close. But I still plan on putting an LS turbo in my 72 LWB after the step side is done. That is the biggest reason for loving your truck, plus my first hotrod was a 67 LWB so I plan reliving some of my youth.

Nice truck AND combo man! JFR turbo cams FTW! How much timing were you running? Also how much water meth and what mixture?

Timing is about 14.5* now. It's 100% meth.
