carb style intake elbows

How do the fabricated aluminum elbows compare to the cast eldebrock elbows on the market?

I am guessing they can make the fab. ones with a little more vol., but if I use the 3848 I planned on polishing the insides for slicker flow

The fab ones can be make at custom angles too.
