Purchased the Huron Speed AC retaining kit V1 and wanted to know if i was able to just notch the k member or will i have to replace it? Trying to keep this within "budget" as possible. Thanks

With an a/c kit you'll have to replace it, no way around it.

You need the space from the Turbo Style Tubular K-member with the A/C kit to wrap the piping around the A/C Compressor on the passenger side as well as the down pipe around the far side of the steering shaft on the drivers side. I would not recommend attempting to cut up the stock K-member to work at all. Let us know and we will be happy to get you an excellent price on the proper K-member

Forsure don't cut k member, imo, I wouldn't cut up my car especially if it's gonna compromise the structure, which I would think you would be doing. I bought a bmr turbo k member and I'm running a 4" dp that is wraped and fits great. Plus the smaller tubing makes it easier to see everything when your under the car. I think I paid 500

Josh,

If you don't get with Jon for a k-member give me a call here at the shop and we can get you set up with one of our turbo k-members that will give you the clearance you need to run the Huron Speed turbo kit.
