Sent my ID2000s in for cleaning before the new engine goes in. These have about 3000 miles on them in ethanol, didn't show any signs of water damage or contamination. So that's good.

Got my id2000s back from cleaning and testing. Also picked up a air compressor and tank for boost control.

This is going to fit nicely in the truck. Since I was limited by only 2 stages over waste gate with my ams500, I wanted more range. Probably do a 5 pound spring and so on.

They are DKT exhaust housings designed for the lsx platform.

I have been really dragging on the project but did get a few things sorted out.
I had Brian Tooley racing spec me out a camshaft for the car. The ls7 that came with the engine wasn't going to cut it for the power i want.

BTR spec me this
230/239 .608/.610 115+5
Pushrods and BTR Bearing upgraded ls3 rockers.

With the multiple problems i have already had with clutches with the factory engine and trying to find a clutch to working with my 9 bolt flywheel i decided to ditch the manual.

I am going to swap in a 4l80e and wire in a GM t42 controller to run it like the factory and no need for an aftermarket controller.

After searching heavily, i decided to pick up a Jake's Performance Level 5 4l80.
Electronic contoled, not trans break. Hoping to see it fairly soon.

Was thinking about using a Circle D torque converter, hit up chris but he was unfamiliarly with my tci flexplate. So i need to do some measuring once i get back to the shop. Also deciding if i want to worry about lock up at wot or not. I have witnessed quite a few "WOT lockup" burn up.

with the turbos and power you will be making I think you'll like the auto alot

they soak up hp but plant it nicely and load the turbos so they spool like mad

the DKT stuff really looks good

I've been looking for the LSA block heads and LS9 crank, where did you find those and how much were they?

top notch build, like the cam too!

Yeah, automatic should make this car much more enjoyable.

I actually bought the engine complete, wasnt really planning on buying a complete engine but couldn't pass up the deal. I would probably look into a lsa crank because they have alot more options as far as flexplates and flywheels go.

Thanks for the words!
