Default Worth Upgrading bullseye S480R?

Curious what you guys think, if its worth upgrading my turbo this winter. I have a bullseye S480R (r stands for race cover). This turbo is the standard 96mm turbine wheel w/1.32 AR. My setup is 408 around 9:2:1 compression im told (lq4 block), 317 heads with valve job, victor jr intake, intercooled. 4L80e. Pump gas with 100% meth.

Car made 902whp when we locked the converter @16psi 825whp @19 unlocked. With upgrading this turbo wheels would i see a good difference at 19 psi ? I cant imagine spinning this motor up even more PSI Low 20s high as i would want to go.

Let me know if you guys have any real world knowledge.

Thanks

I work for Bullseye. I guess it all depends on your goals. How much power do you need to make? Are you happy with the way it spools? Is it our race cover or the borg cover? A Batmo (or TCT Batmo)/Race Cover upgrade will make the same power at a lower boost level and spool quicker than the cast wheel.

I bought the turbo off a guy that never used it. Here is a picture maybe you can tell me whos cover it is? Also the goal was always 1000whp. Spool is good from a roll when its in some RPM but fairly laggy when trying to foot brake it from a stop. Have to be on trans brake a few seconds to build boost.

That is our old race cover, before our name was in it. Depending on your budget, the best way to help spool would be to do a standard billet wheel and/or a 1.10 housing if you don't want to spend the coin on the 80mm Bat/current race cover upgrade (the batmo will not work with that old style cover).
