--------------------------------------------

Car is currently @ Midwest Chassis getting an upgrade from my 10 to a 25.3. Complete front end package, 1 piece front end, Firewall kit, and a bunch more stuff. Car left my house Oct 24th looking like this:

Eric sent me this pic today! He's moving fast!

Engine setup is iron block 408 built by Tnt Race Engines (Tom Olsen). I purchased the short block cheap new from a friend. Was going to use an AES 383 I had built, but I came across a deal on some All-Pro heads that needed a larger bore. Wish the pistons had less of a dish(-28cc), but oh well. It will be driven on the street here and there, but by no means is a daily driver. Looking to race in some street classes.

I have Mike Brown's old All-Pro 12-1 Cathedral heads. They are currently @ AES getting freshened up.

Heads came with everything needed to run a solid roller setup. Nice jesel rockers and all. I contacted Martin@Tick about specing out a cam.

Purchased a Holley High ram for my intake. Plan to have MWC weld in another set of bungs for it so I can run 16 injectors. MWC is also going to supply me a Wilson 105MM TB.

I was going to use the huron speed Twin kit, but with the motor plate and the need for room for my alt, dry sump, and fuel pump, Eric said he would prefer to start form scratch. So he is doing the entire hot/cold side for the car. It will still use the truck manifolds with v-bands. downpipes will come right out the fenders. Turbo's will be 2 6765 CEA'a. WIll be using an A/W intercooler, either a frozen boost or custom one with Garrett cores.

A pic of the Huron speed setup:

Got a good deal on a ARE 5 Stage drysump setup form a member on here. It was org for a SBC, but Eric will make a mount to use it on my ls1. I plan to run an aviaid pan as It didn't come with a pan since it was for a SBC.

For fuel I plan to run a cable drive setup. I called waterman and ordered the cable drive assembly. Plan to have MWC also set in the engine bay. Been talking to Nasty Nate about purchasing his fuel cell for the stock location. Plan to run a Magnafuel MP-4205 pump which will flow an insane amount of fuel. Plan to run the Car on E85.

Trans is a TCI 4L80e. I had FLT go through it and install a Rossler Trans brake a few years back. Pretty sure it has no billet shafts, so at some point it will prob have to go back or somewhere for a little TLC. Don't have a converter or even a company picked out yet.

That should be good for now. I'll add more info and pics later.

Some more updates

Newest pic form Eric. Looks like he got some work done in the strut towers.

Purchased a nice Fluidyne radiator setup off eBay for a good deal. Hopfully this will work good enough to keep my half filled block somewhat cool. I'll throw a fan on my oil cooler if needed later to keep the oil temps down from the filled block.

Was going to use a frozen boost A/W. But saw this one on YB and ebay and figured wtf. This way if I upgrade to a man motor with 6 bolts later, I won't have to worry about out growing the IC. It's a Chiseled Performance IC 4000. Hopefully Eric can fit it under my dash as we planned.

Ordered a set of injector bungs for my holley intake to make it a 16 injector setup, those came in today.

very interested in your tuning experience with the 16 injector setup

I'm wanting to run pump gas 93 octane on the primary injectors and e85 on the secondary for more octane (or race gas)

I have a set of 70 lb injectors in the primary and some FIC 127s for the secondary

I'm using the Haltech to control it but the tuning tips should be similar

what injectors will you be using?

I'll be using some precision 160#'s as one set, not sure on the second set yet. Prob something small for now that I already have.

Visited the car yesterday. They were working on the 1 piece front end. Brought the intercooler with me and it's just too big to fit under the dash or in the nose. So going to sell it and build a custom one for my app.

Some pics of the 1 piece nose in the works:

Purchased a ton of parts or so it seems over the last month or so.

My new ECU:

Waterman cable drive for my fuel pump:

Purchased a new DAD's transcooler, but seeing as all my water lines are 1-1/4", I flipped it and ordered a chiseled to keep it all uniform. Rob from Chiseled has AWESOME customer service and puts out a great product.

Chiseled Trans cooler:

ordered 2 turbosmart wastegates and a race port BOV. Will prob order a second bov.

Purchased this QTP front cover awhile ago, not sure why as I don't plan to do cam swaps often, but it's CNC and does look nice

Picked up a custom oil sump pan for very cheap. IDK why I don't like it, but I just don't. But the price was right and I will run it for now.

Still waiting on my heads from AES, Will prob stop in there sometime this week or next to get an update.

Talked with Martin form Tick and he is spec'ing me out a cam.

Ordered a nasty Nate fuel cell/tank and it is ready for pickup, just need to go get it.

I would really love to put some 76's on it! But, I am limited with the class i want to run. Not to mention I only have a 4 bolt block and a budget one at that.

Eric was picking on me yesterday and said it will prob be 3500.

Looking to race outlaw street.

http://www.midwestoutlawracingseries.com/

With twins I can't be lighter then 3300, Which I personally thought I would be, but I guess we will see.

In the grand scheme of things, I am adding a bunch of weight from the iron block, turbo's, intercooler, water, 25.3....

Also pulling a bunch of weight out of the front end at the same time. But adding more then losing :/

Injectors should be close in size. I think 10%
