I am having valve float over 700 and need to switch out. Was thinking of some dual PAC springs.

The BTR dual valve springs have always worked flawlessly for me.

Any model numbers on those? I'll be switching within the month so I want to make sure to look into the proper ones.

You need a part number for a single set of springs? I guess there is steel or ti retainers as an option...

Most companies make different types of springs, unless they are different than most companies. Excuse the ignorance on the subject.

Go to tooley's site. Look for the set for around $220 with the light weight steel retainers. They drop in the LS heads no muss no fuss.
Mine see 7000+ no issues. I have stock rockers.
All bets are off if you have rollers. Then it would be best to call them.

Thanks for chiming in. I'm about 95% positive I have a valve floar issue. Makes 705 at 5500 rpms and them nose dives.

224/224 .595 114 cam. Stock rockers and Comp dual springs. I don't know exactly which dual springs though just that they are comp dual springs. I bought the car mostly built and I am trying to fix all of the screw ups.

Valve float with boost usually just hangs up at a certain rpm, not missing/popping or anything crazy. Try lowering the boost and see if the rpm carries more.

It drops off at 5500 rpms exactly and if you lower the boost it doesn't do it.
