help with single turbo selection for direct injection 5.3
Okay here goes.
building a single turbo kit for a 2014 GMC and im confused between those two turbos:
a. Garrett GTX 4202R
compressor: 75 mm inducer
Turbine: 82mm
Supports 1150 hp
b. GTX 4508R
Compressor: 80mm inducer
Turbine: 87mm
supports 1250 hp
Not only am I confused between those two turbos, im trying to figure out what would be the best flange and a/r to use?
1. Divided T4, 1.15 a/r and quickspool valve
2. Divided T6, 1.05 a/r with quickspool valve
Initial goals are 600rwhp at about 12ish psi, with peak power coming in at about 6100 rpms. Also notice I said initial and it will go up from there after we figure a few things out with the DI motors such as ported/ enlarged CC heads for less compression ratio, cam, unprojected tip plugs, meth and all the other drivetrain supporting mods etc...
Trucks are street and offroad hybrids, no drag racing, no loose converters, no e85 no NOS and so on.
Thanks
