Default Is there a IAT sensor with 1/4 npt threads?

I got a threaded iat sensor i believe from an s10... Anyway the threads are huge and are 3/8 pipe thread. i was wondering if there was a smaller IAT sensor that used 1/4 pipe thread?

If so what make and model of vehicle does it come from?

not that I know of....
just drill the hole larger and re-tap for 3/8 NPT (most IAT sensors with threads are 3/8 NPT)

or buy a brass adapter from Home Depot to step up to the 3/8 NPt

I'm pretty sure no one makes one. 3/8" NPT is the standard size since it was used on cyclones and typhoons for boosted applications. It's the same sensor as the grommet type, just threaded and is the most popular IAT to use.

Also remember, you want the thermistor in the airflow. Using an adapter isn't going to allow that.

I bought a bung, and cut the length down to get the sensor fully in the airflow.

I used the sensor shown above. It tends to heat soak....
