Default heat shielding help

how are you guys shielding things like streering rack boots from heat from downpipes.. there is very minimal clearance between my dp and steering rack.. downpipe is wrapped with DEI titanium. but still cooked the boot and endup up causing seal to fail.. thinking of dimpling the dp some to get more space and adding this or a starter heat shield.

I know we should of built more clearance in there... but we made the mistake of building it with the suspension unloaded.. so once the weight was but on everthing it got a lot closer.. lesson learned now to get it to stop melting stuff

This product works well but I don't know if you have enough room with the stand offs to your boot. If not try ceramic coating your pipe then wrap
