That's because V1 T Trims were originally developed in the early 90's for Mustangs. The blower is old and works fine, but it's been superseded by newer and more efficient stuff that supports more power.

If you can get it dirt cheap as a head unit then it could be worth it.

ECS uses them in their base kits and they max around 850rwhp. Stout blowers and are pretty much equivalent to a D1SC. Might be different on a f body but with the corvette's efficient drivetrain they make good power.
