car is running fantastic though. what does is 60 ft at?

I agree that at this level those heads might be choking it.

as you are upping the boost, where are the IATs at and are you still in the sweet spot of the compressor map for that turbo.

8's is no joke with this build, congrats!!!! I'd be more worried about the durability of the short block but the LS continues to amaze in that department!!

With the glide the best 60 is a 1.33 but there is more there I've been chipping away at it every time out. I have about 12 passes on it with the glide in the car.

At 23lbs it's reaching 261* at the top end of the track. At 18-19lbs it was reaching 248-250*. To be perfectly honest I'm not sure on the compressor map.

Thanks. I'm not sure how long it will last at this power level but seems to be holding together fine for now. The original longblock had 80k miles on it and I put a good 80 passes on it with nitrous before lifting a couple ring lands and put in the gen 4 rods/pistons. Since then I have 35 passes on it most of them over 18lbs. I'm planning on building a forged engine next year so I'm not too worried about pushing this one too far.

Great stance!

Did you lower/raise the car at all? What size tires front and back? I have a 96 sn95 with 275/60/15 out back and the factory 25.xx" front tires and dont like my stance. Cant really lower the rear b/c the suspension bottoms out too hard, so I have to put smaller tires on the rear which I dont want to do or put taller tires on the front.

Read you build thread - all very nicely done and thanks for sharing!

The front has coil overs and it is lowered but not sure by how much I just leveled the car out best I could. The rear has stock V8 springs in it that are cut, but not sure how many coils. It was more trial and error with the rear ride height till I couldn't go any more without rubbing the inner fenders. The front tires are 26x6x15 MT Sportsman SRs. Thanks

I actually took one coil off the rear springs and it gave the perfect stance but again it bottomed out hard. That one coil made a BIG difference. I probably could of cut the snubber down a bit and it would of worked.

Nice work!!!

I would think that's absolutely achievable especially with a lighter car.

Cooling works good but street time has been limited with this set up. Mostly 15-20 minute drives and it never went over 180*. That was with the TH350 now it has a glide in it so not sure how that will be affected.

Slight update after changing gearing. Unfortunately I ran out of gear on this pass with the limiter at 7k. I moved it to 7200 on the last pass of the night but the beam got triggered early so all I get was MPH and went 155.10.
