Anyone have issues with meth lines popping off?
I have a snow kit with 2 nozzles. Before it got cold I took the car out and had a line pop on the elbow before the nozzle. Thankfully didnt cause any damage. Went home cut the end of the line put it back in the push connector and its been sitting since. Last night I barley touch the line and it falls off. Anyone have something like this happen and how did you fix it? Im using all snow stuff, nozzles, fittings, red lines.

i've had that issue at the start of cold weather,,its the fitting "push to lock" gets compromised after repeated on and off installs..mine never blew off but it would drip/mist under use/testing.

"I've ran 100% in my snow kits for years but have to replace the lines about every 2 months. They harden, shrink and leak after awhile. "
So perhaps this is whats happening with mine. Maybe i can get some different brand lines instead of snow that would hold up better?

Just look at suppliers online. There are many different materials used for the pushlock lines. Then look up the lines compatibility with methanol. Not sure what Snow uses. I believe mine were nylon. I had a year of success or so on 100% meth. (sold that car) As long as you only used the fitting once it holds up fine when the oring swells. If you remove the line and try to reinsert the tubing it cut the oring and leaked. My kit held up 2 years this way. Id have to suggest against this thou. As a leak in the engine bay usually leads to fire. Methanol fires are very hard to see as well...
Polyurethane has a good methanol compatibility rating...
