Power Booster or Manual Master Brakes
Is it worth it to take the Power Brake Booster and Master out of my car and replace it with a manual master, like a Wilwood one. Its a Street/Strip single turbo S-10. My Buddy said under a lot of boost the brakes will fade and booster can blow up. I haven't heard of that?

I don't know why you would want to remove power brakes if it wasn't nessasary. I removed mine as it was in the way of the cylinder head. I did go with a longer brake pedal and hopefully a correctly sized master cylinder.
Like the post above, keep it and run a check valve and you should be good.

I still have power brakes and I'm looking to convert to manual power makes it tricky to stage the car because of the change in brake pressure as you leave vac and come to + pressure your required to put a lot more force to keep from rolling it makes bumping in tricky

We have a camaro with a Wilwood Master, No power booster in a 67 Camaro and it stops just as good. Right now the large booster is hitting the back of the head and valve cover. Thanks
