Default calico coated engine bearings for turbo motor

My last shortblock ate a king main bearing, and was thinking of maybe with this shortblock to use calico coated clevites throughout (main, rod, cam). Anybody have any thoughts on this good or bad? Will there be tighter clearances on everything?

Will be tighter. if you clearance it correctly with desired clearance it will eat the coating before the bearing if you have a oiling issue the actual coating is supposed to be stronger than the bearing

I just recently bought these bearings (main and rod) for an iron block 347 boost motor I'm putting together for a buddy. Getting machine work done by S.A.M. in a few weeks, so hopefully we won't run into these issues..
