Of more importance, what tank setup are you using ?

OEM EFI ? In tank pump ? in-line pump ?

It will be a fuel cell in the bed and i like the idea of an in-line.

Given the lower pressures needed, almost any inline efi pump would work, or any of the typcal big US style pumps

A single Bosch 044 will easily support that power level, be totally reliable and very compact and easy to fit.
But you could use many of the big gear style pumps, Weldon, Magnafuel etc etc if you wanted.

I'd go with a Bosch 044 style too. Jayracing makes one that flows quite a bit more than the standard 044 at low pressures and costs $10 more.

I'd like to see some independent tests before believing the claims. Especially when it shows flow dropping off so much with pressure, which I've never seen a graph of any 044 doing that. Typically their flow ability is vary linear with pressure right up to around 7-8 bar and only then does it fall off markedly

The 044 has been around for decades and nobody has made a pump that compares with it yet for overall performance and reliability.

It would be good if their claims are true though.

But they say these are made in the UK....even the biggest fuel pump supplier in the UK dont sell them. Which seems a little odd

I’d like to see some testing with these as well.

These guys have been around since 2005 and supply some of the biggest names in the DSM racing world. They spend the extra money and provide flow data for all their pumps VS the competitors. If the pumps weren’t performing as published, I really think we’d hear about it. You can also Email Jay anytime and he gets back to you immediately. I’m sure he’d be happy to tell you where they are having the pumps built. I’ve used their “255 style” pumps in the past and they performed well above the standard 255HP. If I were going to buy new 044’s, I’d buy from them

The strangest part for me...A genuine Bosch 044 in the UK will cost you around £140. At todays exchange rates, with no postage or taxes, that's still over US $200.
And that's at the cheapest end of purchasing genuine.

There are many threads where people have bought units for £80-90 from various suppliers only to find they are not genuine.

So for a seller in the US to list them for such low prices having sourced from the UK...it just doesnt add up.

FSE Glencoe the biggest supplier of such stuff also list an 044 replacement for £80-90 or so, even their advertising of it is a little dubious almost leading you to believe it is an 044.
But they dont say it performs better, just that it is a replacement.

I know people who have used their cheaper Bosch alternatives on different projects, reliability seems random.
