Default Cam Change and Tuning

Went from a 224/224 114 to 227/227 114, I should be fine to drive the car to the dyno correct? Same lift.

OLSD tune though.

Those specs are very close so you should be fine but I would take it easy and wouldn't WOT. What are you doing with the 224 cam? What did you swap it out for only 3 degrees? My son is looking for a used one

This is LT1 land, and the 224 cam got chewed up by some lame *** LS7 lifters.

What's LT1 land? You are in LS1 performance > forced induction

I own an LT1, its a SBC and therefore not a LSX style cam.

I do not mention it cause it confuses LSX owners who only know 4.8/5.3/6.0 sbe stuff.

I am confused, I just want some confidence the thing will run halfway decent so I don't have to trailer it to the tuner.

You will be fine driving to the tuner. Just be gentle. Even with OLSD the difference should be minimal considering the LSA's are the same.

You'll be fine, I changed to a smaller cc, much higher flowing/bigger valved set of heads and my tune didn't really change, a little more fuel up top was it, it liked the same timing everywhere.
