Gearing
Whats up guys I have a 2000 mustang v6 terminator cobra clone thats undergoing a 2006 lq4 swap. I currently have 4.30 gears in the back that were for my sbf 347/t5 combo. I'm thinking about switching to 3.27s but you guys will know better then me. Heres my mod list. Its a full weight street car. It will run on a stock ecu on hptuners. It still has a back seat, factory alarm, power everything. The only thing it lacks is ac, heat, and ps. Its not light by any means. I do plan on driving the car A LOT on the street. I'm not sure what kind of power its going to make but i hope a decent bit. If you guys can guess it ill take that as well. The car isnt going to run for at least 6-8 months because of a lack of funds but its getting there piece by piece. Hers a quick synopsis of everything that i have off the top of my head. I am new to the domestic/turbo v8 world. I specialize in subarus and evos so bare with me.

I find it kind of funny that your going to have more $ in your fuel system, than your engine or turbo setup (unless you went through the engine or, just paid too much). JMO. ID is proud of their injectors.
Otherwise, it looks like a real nice setup, and should make good power! Those 4:30 gears are useless for this setup. Without knowing what the car weighs, the 3:27's are a real nice start, and at the least will give you a good baseline.

The engine will be good to go and the turbo setup is cheap. My rear and suspension were the most expensive lol. The I have no issue running ebay parts if they actually work well. The fuel stuff is expensive but theres nothing worse then running out of fuel while tuning. I'm building the car piece by piece looking for deals. I'm only 20 and I'm a full time college student and a full time worker at an import shop.

I completely understand, and hope you didn't take offense, if anything, I was thinking you should do a cheaper setup on fuel. There are too many guys running fast, on cheap injectors. Granted, ID's are supposed to be super easy to tune, and are super precise.
I didn't mention the other parts, because I know you have some $ in those!
Thats a big, high $ project in my mind, let alone a 20y/o college student. Congrats on that!

I understand what they are saying on fuel system but doing it right the first time pays off. I've redone my fuel system at lest 5 times. Complete fuel system! I have always geared low. I started off 3.08 and now am at 3.50 . I've never been higher than a 3.50.

My car was an N/A setup before I went with the turbo, and so I had 4.57's in the 9". Th400 car. I actually ran that gear the first time I went out to the 1/8th mile with the turbo setup. Best sixty foot was 1.45. I then swapped over to 3.50 gear so I could do a 1/4 event, and the car went 1.36 sixty foot.
So in summary, I gained sixty foot, am able to put more load on the motor because of the new gear, A LOT lower rpms on the street being a th400 car, and not to mention that the 3.50 gear should carry me to 150mph 1/4 traps no problem.
Edit: All of this is on stock rear shocks!

Yea, I think that i may try some 327s on my 28" tire.. I can always change it later. Heres some pics. The turbo kit is about to be built and the cage is halfway done. Its in pieces as of this moment and its on some roll around wheels.
Bad pic of the tranny but its the only one that i have. It actually went through 3 hours of paint prep lol
Before they started on the cage, i dont have any pics of the current progress. All you can see here is the subframe connectors.
