Here's what I'd recommend:

223/231 .617/.598 115+5 for quicker spool and added bottom end. This would be beneficial IMO to a roll racer who needs to get out on the car you're racing quickly and not have to play catch up. The turbo you have will take over on the top end easily.

227/235 .624/.610 115+5 for added mid-range and top end power. This will also have some lope/chop to it at idle if you must have some. Slight decrease in spool time, but should still light off quickly if the tune up isn't overly rich or under timed horribly.

Cam kit with either cam, push rods and dual spring kit is 679.99.

Got to love free cam recommendations. Most people charge $$ for that kind of info. Keep it up Martin.

Martin definitely knows what he is doing when it comes to turbo cars and cams....and basically everything else on them.

He did a custom cam for my LS408 Turbo and it works great.

Great service and a great custom product.

Just sayin.. Little **** like that goes a long way with me. Being local to Houston I originally wanted to use PatG. Once I found out he charged a spec fee I was like yeah no thanks. BTW your cam is running great in my car.

Glad to hear the cam is doing well and thank you for the kind words.

If you can live without a overly aggressive choppy idle, I think you will find the idle to be enough of a lope that you can tell a camshaft is installed.

It isn't anything crazy, and if you have to have a little chop/lope at idle the Stage 2 would be your best bet. That said, I would lean closer towards the Stage 1 with it being a 6 speed.

I love my Martin cam. Car runs really strong, has a slight choppy idle and lights the turbo off way sooner. You can't go wrong with him.

I was wondering how the change from the "blower" cam to the "turbo" cam went.

Good to hear.
