Default Latest & Greatest - Huron Speed V2 A/C Turbo Kit

Jon and his team have done it again! They have come up with a turbo kit that I can retain my A/C as well as my sway bar! And aslo, put my alternator back to the stock position.

I just completed the install minus any heat wrap. Unfortunately, I will be wrapping all the hot side pipes except the headers. (They look to sexy to wrap)

I still need to connect my turbo coolant lines and tidy things up.

Here are some pics of the car and the installed product:

Alternator relocated to the stock position

So can this kit make 900rwhp with that turbo? In other words, is that turbo equivalent to an F1-A in terms of power?

Depends on engine combination. These standard T4 turbos are going to be more efficient on a smaller displacement engine (5.3l-6.0l). Smaller the engine, the more efficient the turbo will be, can be pushed harder and typically make more power on the smaller engine set-up. We have made over 900rwhp with a 5.3l and a standard T4, additionally over 800rwhp with a 5.7l and 6.0l. It really lies in the engine set-up on how efficiently the standard T4 set-up can be pushed.

416 is too large for a standard T4. You could possibly get away with a mid-frame but that would require our 4" bumper exit down pipe which we have discussed before. Ideally a T6 kit would cater much better to your engine set-up and goals.

haha it appears that way from some angles but it is not that bad. The design and piping allows much of the new enhancements to happen:

*Retain OEM Alternator in OEM Position
*Retain Front Sway bar in OEM Position
*Pull Exhaust from both banks individually for proper wastegate control
*Recirculate downpipe discharge into the exhaust
*Retain A/C system without modifications
*Retain OEM Radiator and Condensor positions
*Fit even a mid-frame Turbo such as a PT88 or BW S400 without having to modify
*All v-banded to allow easy installation and proper adjustments!

Beautiful setup! I am very tempted to take part in this group purchase going on right now, and these pics make me want it even more.

OP, how is the PA racing K-member working out for you? It is quite a bit cheaper than a BMR turbo K, so if fitment is good then I will most likely end up going this route.

I hope me weighing in here is alright as you addressed the OP, however we have tons of experience with the K-members.

First off, go for it on the Group Purchase, next person to get in will bump them and everyone else into another price drop

PA Racing K-members have proven very durable and dependable for hundreds of our customers running them. Stock A-arm fitment isn't as good with the PA not allowing as many adjustments before the bulky stock lower a-arm hits, but that seems to be the only draw back. We sell both the PA and the BMR, both great products with great service and you can also get one from us at a great discount bundled in through the group purchase! The PA comes out to be $20 less than the BMR.

Jon

Thanks a lot for the response. I didn't realize the PA k-member ends up costing that much. I know it was like $415 or something on their website. I guess there are other options that run the total price up? To keep from junking up this thread I'll send you a PM Jon.

No problem!
Yes, upgrading it to turbo style, adding your engine mounts, shipping, etc.

As I really hated to do it, I wrapped all the awesome looking exhaust piping (minus the manifolds) to minimize underhood heat. I have a lot of painted plastic "dress-up" panels underhood and would hate to see them end up like a potato chip.

Everything fits nicely and clearances are great!

I am ready to fire this thing up!!

It is hard to see from the pic, but the upper A/C line fits and looks great.
