Walbro e85 450 pump enough?
I currently have the race tronix hot wire and 255 pump but I can't see this thing handling 500 horse ! I have a new lsx built for boost , tick boost cam , prc heads , 80lb injectors ! I'm looking for numbers north of 750 horse will the Walbro pump fuel my needs?

On e85, those injectors and that pump... going to be a close one. Definitely going to have to ramp up the base pressure. I think you'll run out of injector... but that's my opinion. Twin 450's would set you up better. Is the fuel system stock?

Yes other then the injectors and the racetronix hot wire kit and performance pump! It's Stock lines and fuel rails and fuel sender! This is a complete new set up for me I'm new to the FI world I have been piling up parts for 2 years ! I will start a build thread soon tonight .

My set up consists of a Thompson iron block 347 with 3cc valve reliefs ,prc 1.0 heads, tick stage 2 turbo cam,arp head studs,ls6 intake ,80 lb injectors ,huron speed truck manifold v1 kit , turbonetics 78/75 ! I plan to run e85 being its everywhere around here but to my understanding the walbro e85 pump has no problem pushing big numbers on pump gas ! I just can't see sticking twin 450's in the stock sending unit lol

What IDC were you seeing on the 1000cc (95lb?) at that power level. RWHP numbers will vary as everyone will have a different BSFC and drivetrain loss... I personally think the injectors will be the limiting point and 60psi base pressure wont cut it. Just my $0.02

I did not see the logs from the dyno, but when I logged at the track at the same 16psi they were at ~85%. I've calculated my BSFC to be .83.
Figuring a BSFC of .85 with a 255/450 and 80s (assuming a boost reference regulator) If he could make ~900 hp by 20psi (just figuratively) the best base fuel pressure for him would be 65psi maxing it all out around that 900 mark. That is also assuming voltage at the pumps doesn't drop at all.

Then you better start looking real hard. A Lonnie's dual setup will get you there in terms of plug n play but you still have to make some electrical connections and route the fuel lines. 750 on E needs some customization that you will be hard pressed to get around. I went the 255/430 route but rigged up my own intank setup in addition to custom lines and regulator placement. Supports 725 RWHP on E-85 no sweat.
