Default tc78 to s475/96 swap q's

just picked up a s475/96 t6 1.32 turbo and im thinking about redoing my hot side to run this turbo on my 6.0 . im currently running good with my tc78 but im sure the 68mm turbine is going to be a restriction soon. so I thought id see if anyone has done a similar turbo swap. my car has a 3200 converter and a pg with a brake so as long as I can get it spooling by 3000 it should be fine . I guess what im asking is can I get a 475/96 to light off by 3000. ,I do have launch control as well to get it going if needed. thanks.

So why are you wanting to redo your hotside? Is the pipe size different than what your wanting? Are you having issues changing plugs or anything?

I did send you a pm also.

no the hotside is fine but to go to a t6 id have to redo it and a s400 borg turbo is big and I might need to tuck it in to clear the hood. im going to stick to a t4 and keep it simple.

So your going to get rid of your t6 and go with a t4?

You got that *** backwards man. T4 to T6.

Edit: I didn't read far enough and am an idiot.

yes given the s475 I picked up is a t6 with a 96 mm turbine im going to sell it actually I have it sold and im going to buy a turbo with the smaller 83/74 turbine . most of what I learned about the big turbine is I whould have needed more converter to get it spooled. as well as rebuilding the hotside for t6. so I bailed on the t6 96 turbo.
