2010 Camaro Wastegate on crossover pipe
Was just curious if anyone has ran a waste-gate on just the crossover pipe (2 1/2) vs the merge to the turbo ,,i have looked it up with some really mixed views ,and the posts are old, was just curious if its not a good idea ,,packaging is tight and would really help me out...hot side is 3 in and about 3 1/2 to 4 feet total after the crossover to a 76mm turbo divided t4 flange with a 1.15 a/r 77mm ex. wheel ,waste-gate is 50mm,, looking for 9psi and about 600whp thanks !!

Nevermind seen your website ! looks great ! and the position doesnt really have a direction for airflow, so if it works like that then i dont see why it would not work if it was on a bend ! Thanks very much, been searching for an image and couldnt find anything .. thanks again ! i have a 9lb spring do you have any problems with it running over your spring rate ?

Springs are not exact.
They are just a point of measure.
I tell all customers to start low and see.
install a 3lb spring and see what you get.
If you install 3 and get 6. Not a big issue. Just your build with that spring and gate yields that psi.
But it needs to hold the boost psi. No climbing.
