Default 98 Firebird, 408 w/ forward facing 76's.

This one wont be a full build thread, just a few pictures and details as I move along on a guys 98 Firebird.

Specs: 408 built by Jakson over at TPIS here in MN. Nothing too special, just the run of the mill forged bottom stock crank with stock casting ported heads.
Edelbrock Pro Flo XT and FAST tb.
Turbonetics 7668's and Precision 46 gates.
Custom truck manifold kit with stainless pre turbo hotside and mild 3" downpipes into a single 4 all the way back.
Treadstone 1245 intercooler.

I like doing every kit I build a little different. This one feeds fresh air to the turbos through the Ram Air hood. May build an air plenum box once it is up and running.

Nice packaging, can't wait to see the progress. Are my eyes messing with me, or does that radiator look small?

Nate, do these builds require hood pins since I don't see a latch anywhere ?

out of curiosity, is there any reason that you used mild for the down pipes but stainless for the pre-turbo hotside? i ask because im thinking of doing the same thing, only for cost reasons. are there any pros or cons to doing it that way?
