Default Do I really need hotwire kit?

I have a ProCharger p1sc, and I purchased a walbro 450 fuel pump. But I was wondering, do I really need a hot wire kit? And what does it exactly do?

It hotwires the pump directly to the alternator which is 1 to 1 1/2 volts hotter than the battery

It's supposed to make the pump run a hair faster and pump more fuel

Yes. The factory wiring won't carry enough current. Call Lonnie or read a lot of threads.
