Nice build! very similar to my 2005 GTO. Mine is basically an iron block L33, cxracing gt35s. The cxracing turbo headers weren't available yet when I built mine so I used flipped f-body manifolds. Just have a few minor things to finish and tune it. Nice job!

Trying to find a spot to mount the boost controller
Not many places in a Gto, soon as that's done it's going to the tuner

Probably drop it off tonight and pick it up on Tuesday, drive it around for a few days on wastegate pressure and make sure there aren't any problems, then take it back and turn up the wick

Checked today and the price on the kit jumped to five grand on ebay.

Checked their site, still the $2xxx price. Maybe it's marketing or hopefully I'm wrong.

stopped by the tuner today and its picked up a random misfire in the #1 cylinder, gonna try swapping a coil and an injector and see if that's the problem

was hoping to have it done today but there are always some minor setbacks trying to get a project finished

Looks like a plug wire was the culprit
Ohm'd out at something like 6000

Still have plenty of spare wires so I'm going to cut another one to length and check it out, should be done by this weekend

Can you post some more pics from different angles with it complete? Also, how was the fit to the catback?

Doesn't fit the catback at all
I have it turned down under the car, no mufflers
It's loud as hell...lol

It's still down at the tuner, should be done in a few more days
I'll post some more pictures when I get it back

Does it have more room for bigger turbos?

With a little effort it could fit bigger turbos
The stock radiator tabs would need to be removed
I'm using a stock radiator so I'm using them still but an aftermarket rad and a couple screws to hold it in place would free up a lot of room

I'd recommend recirculating the gates too
It's just too tight with the dump pipes in place

Just based on on the turbo combos I've read about, plus my own turbo engines, I would think that's going to be a very soggy performing cam. Too much duration, too much overlap and LSA too narrow.

I think it might drive the exhaust wheels a little too hard
These are pretty small turbos, from what I've seen and read too much back pressure and these little guys will choke up top

I bet it would spool pretty quick with that cam and start to Peter out up top. I'm starting with an ls6 cam, if they carry to 66-6700 I might swap to a little bigger turbo cam and try to pick up a little more power without them running out of breath

Finished up tuning tonight
This thing is a missile...lol

Started off at wastegate pressure around 8 psi, got everything dialed in and started upping the boost and dialing back the timing.

Ended up setting the controller max boost to 18.5 psi, only has 13 degrees of timing in it right now trying to keep everything safe.

At 8 psi it feels almost as fast as the maggie setup did at 12 psi.
At 18psi it hazed my 275 et streets in third at well over a hundred.

Don't have any power numbers with it being street tuned only but I'm pretty confident it's making enough power to trap mid 130s at almost 3900 lbs

I didn't plan on finishing it today so I didn't bring it home
Still want to trailer it back and didn't have anyway to haul it today.

If it's not raining tomorrow I'll try and take a video. I was surprised how fast it felt with such low timing in it honestly. Didn't see any knock retard worth mentioning all day even once it started getting warm and iat started climbing a little.
Really happy with how it's turned out so far
