Default UPDATED 6/18: Huron Speed T6 kit car. PICS

Guess I'll start a build thread.. Jonathan at Huron Speed has seriously shown me some of the best customer service I've ever had. Prompt responses to email like no other, and super patient with my questions, as this is my first big build.

Also I'd like to thank John Bewley for basically every nut and bolt to build my motor with, as well as custom cam kit, and trunnion install.

My car is being built by myself when I can help, but at Speed Productions in Jackson MS (really Florrence, just outside of Jackson) where they have currently two very knowledgeable mechanics on LS cars, but originally set out for Ford performance. They have a dyno in house and the car will be tuned by John Weeks out of Pensacola FL. (bad ****, and a great guy to work with). John has been tuning with Speed Productions for some time now for cars all around Mississippi and neighboring states. So a HUGE thanks to Kyle Rigdon, Scott Mcneill, Ferrel Anderson, And Jeff Swanner at Speed Productions.

Now for some progress pics, which ill keep updated about twice a week. Sundays and Wednesdays are about the only days I have off to do work..

All other parts besides turbo kit and motor parts that John Bewley helped with, sourced thru Speed Production.

Nice! Jon is the man. I also have a V2 hotside with a few custom pieces and a custom 5in downpipe from them. Should be shipping out this week. Looking forward to progress on yours!

Did Huron Speed do the ceramic coating? Or did you get that done locally?

Your not worried about it cracking overtime and leaking oil? I imagine this is for the smaller t4 units.

No, not at all. It is constructed all out of overly thick/strong materials. It is there to help support the weight of the turbo, it is not the only thing holding it up nor will it get super hot/cold cycles. Zero worries and it does an excellent job of supporting the turbo while also making your oil set-up much easier!

Are you doing a S480 on this car?
How much boost do you plan to run?

Huron has an EXCELLENT coating program! I got mine ceramic coated as well and got the cold pipes powdercoated to match the exterior paint. Came out excellent.

Sorry for the Hijack, just wanted to show off the awesome coating too! Lol

Very nice. How much extra was the ceramic coating? I put my deposit down today so I'm pretty stoked!
