Default [VR] Corvette C6 TTZ06 with 1,380whp Update - Video/Pictures/Customers Other Builds

A very active racer and great client of ours saw this particular car run at the GA 1/2 mile event and just had to have it. His garage already contained a big power CTS-V coupe and a Whipple supercharged C6 Z06, but he wanted a car that could run consistent 200+ mph traps in the 1/2 while also being able to be driven on the street. This orange C6 Z06 was the perfect candidate so he bought the car and started making the necessary upgrades to make this a 200+ mph 1/2 mile car. While the twin turbo build we did on this orange Vette was already stout, it needed some more upgrades to really make it consistent, reliable and drivable at that speed. The customer also want to make some visual upgrades to really make the car his own.

After dropping it off and going over all available options, we decided the following list of build upgrades were the right route to go to break that 200mph mark throughout the year. It also made for a beautiful build on the exterior as well as the engine bay of this C6Z. Monster Customs also did an awesome job on the stereo much like they did with his CTS-V pictured below.

So here is what we added on to this already incredible TT build...
  • Weld 15x10 RTS S71 with 325/50/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street
  • Parachute with in-house fabricated custom mount
  • Wilson Billet Bank LS7 Intake w/ Wilson logo removed
  • Nitrous Outlet Direct Port System w/ atomic orange hardlines
  • Pro-EFI 128 ECU
  • AEM Methanol System
  • RPM 2.56 rear differential
  • Rear Diffuser
  • LG World Challenge Hood
  • Billetech Alternator
  • VR Custom Camshaft (larger)
  • RPS Billet Carbon Quad Disc Clutch
  • DSS 2000HP Half Shaft
  • Monster Customs full audio and laser/radar system (Obviously not needed for 200+ trap speeds, but makes the car that much more fun when driving it on the streets)
  • ZIP slotted Brake rotors
  • 360 Forged Spec V Wheels - 19x12.5/19x9.5 with Nitto NT05R drag radials for street
  • LG Front & Rear Sway Bars
  • Pfadt Coilover System
  • C16 Tune
  • FORE Triple In-Tank Pump Module w/ FC3 Controller

The result of the additions was 1,380whp on boost only that ended up going 201mph at the GA 1/2 mile last year! Now that the car is dialed in, we are ready to hit the spray at the next GA 1/2 mile event.

Monster Customs really setup his audio and trunk setup.

Beautiful vette.

Is this a low mount or rear turbo setup?

This is a low-mount setup on this vehicle, which is why we are fairly limited on turbo size.
