Default Sheet metal intake vs victor jr

Just wondering would a sheet metal intake or Vic jr be better for boost? Would be going on a 5.3l s475 t6 1.32ar. What's everyone's thoughts?

Well obviously a proper made sheet metal intake is gonna work better. However, there is a significant price difference between a vic jr and a sheet metal. Does you combo warrant a custom made sheet metal intake? What about the super vic or even the hi ram?

I doubt you will notice much difference vs a pro flo or Hi ram but I think they all have a slight edge over a vic jr. Nothing an additional half to a psi of boost won't overcome tho.

$375 for a vic vs. $3750 for a sheetmetal.

You only have an s475. You could max out that turbo with an ls2 lntake.
Spend the extra $3k+ in suspension or intercooler.

What he said.

Your build isn't anything that warrants an aftermarket intake, TBH. You can max out that S475 and the stock intake wouldn't be much of a restriction, and would make more torque than a sheet metal intake.
