Default Dry sump turbo oil drain.

Drain into front cover, or "T" into one of the suction lines coming from the pan?

If the supply tank is mounted up front, and above the pump, is the tank heater still needed?

why not drain into the pan?

I would make sure the scavenge pump has a priority on the pan drain, turbos don't flow enough oil to make it worth a t in the line

but I wouldn't dump the oil on the timing chain as it with whip it up

keep the foam out of the oil and just drill a hole in the pan

no oil there so as long as you dump the oil in as high in the pan as you can you should be just fine

mutually independent. heater is to warm the oil to get it to flow easier

above the pump gives a nice gravity drain

the heater is pretty "optional" if you warm up the car which you should

the heater just gives that a running start and the modern quality oils don't need to be super heavy weight to do the job

The pan is pretty shallow. It could be drilled and tapped here in the front, or I could drill and tap one of the pan rails. The passenger side pan rail needs to have the other 2 pump mount bracket holes added any way.
