Martin spec's a good cam...I was going to run a LS9 originally in my build and he spec'd me one that will make better power, be much easier on the drivetrain along w/ meeting emissions standards

I picked up a tick 5.3 stage 2 turbo cam. Still waiting on the motor to be built and the turbo kit from Huron speed so no results yet. Hopefully by the end of the year it will be up and running.

I had Martin spec a cam for me for me 5.3 GT45 build. Not been on the road with it yet but it is running.. Nothing but good things to say about their customer service. I told them I wanted a cam that had a good lope to it though and so far the cam sounds relatively stock. Idling is at 900 as of now, I'm hoping I can back it down to 725-750 and get a decent sound out of it. That's my only complaint if you would even call it that.

Another thing to consider is that turbo, if it's the Gt-45 then I don't think it'll do "way more than 650." Denmah has had good success with that china copy of a pt-88. He made 740 whp with it no problem.

We have three shelf cams designed for 4.8 and 5.3 turbo applications that work very well.

I'd be glad to help you select the best camshaft for your application, either give me a call at the shop or shoot me an email if you'd prefer!

Tick Performance N/A cam here. My little forged 346ci ls1 will be strong on motor and a killer on a 200 shot. Martin is the man on cams. Actually he knows a lot on the LS platform period. Once Tick gets done with my built motor I should easily run high 10's on motor in my full weight 2002 ss camaro and high 9's on laughing gas. Daily driven grudge car ftw!

I've got Martins cam on my NA Ls3 making great power, and now have his boost cam spec'd for my little 4.8 which made just over 600whp on 12psi from a smaller 78/76, not bad at all IMO. Can't got wrong with Martin @ Tick.
