As far as heads, I'm leaning towards prc 260 aftermarket ls3 heads
Who did you order the crank from? Everywhere I checked was out of stock.

Motor will hopefully be coming out in the next week or so for the rebuild. I have a stock stroke k1 crank and aftermarket prc 260cc heads with hollow stem intake valves coming to replace the decked ls3 heads. These will be the same 64cc chambers so it will be a good comparison on exactly what a good set of heads will add on a boosted setup over a set of untouched port stock heads.

In for results. Also I bet your stock crank is fine but I agree with the move.

Maybe so. I'm curious to find out what bearings are gone. We pried on the ballencer and didn't see and front to back movement so seems thrust is ok. I don't know hardly anything about internal motors but the crank flexing is the only thing that makes sense to me as the motor was perfectly fine for 600 miles or so before we went wot on it. Who knows.

If you warped your crank, This is how you will know. Well minus the bearings being fucked.

Maybe I missed it but what was your timing at? I have a 408 that I bought to rebuild after it was killed on the dyno because of detonation. First it torched a head gasket then it was reassembled only to wipe out the crank and one main cap. They were way to aggressive on the tune.

Have you ever thought that detonation could have been the cause? It would explain it pushing water and the wiped out bearings.

21 degrees at what KPA? I saw in your other thread that you took out #2,3,4 main bearings. Did you check the crank for run out yet?

From his post earlier in the thread.

Seems like timing might be a little aggressive on a new tune.
