Default procharger hat

Does anyone have pics of how they fit there truck hat on. I can't find any good pics of how people run them and not dragging on the ground, i can't figure it out. I'm about ready to buy a f body hat but i dont know for sure where I would run that ether my piping seems to be in the wrong spot for both.
I have a front Mount intercooler, with the ProCharger shroud and radiator in stock position.

I absolutely hate mine. Not sure if it's the roads around here or what. Mine ever stays on. It seems to sit lower then my y-pipe which I thought was impossible.

I was hoping there was a way to tuck it up more. Because in that spot it lasted 150ft with a t bolt clamp. The pot holes where am at are terrible. I tried removing the cruise control and tilting it up that way but then I did not have much room for a air filter

I would secure it by adding a bracket at the top of the air filter clamp, and secure it to the body above it. Bob

Here's a pic of mine. The undercar plastic is cut to hide everything better. A short piece of pipe angles the filter up around the blinker area.

Here's a setup on a friends car. We were able to fit a 12" x 6" filter by cutting down the hat a little before the "p" on procharger. The inlet on the filter is 4" and the cruise control box is relocated allowing the hat to be rotated up. With this filter it picked up 7 kpa (1 lb of boost) up top over a 8" x 6" filter.

Filter part number: RE-0860

I thought about trying to cut the hat shorter but did not know how the air filter would clap becase the truck hat is not that round.

This is my ghetto job for temporary driving. The hat seems to be more of a starting point. I used flex duct tubing an gave it some chrome lol. My filter is up behind the fog light. My plan is to use this for a template. The angle of the pic makes it look much lower than it is.

I got tired of mine coming off so I used a piece of silicone hose about 1 1/2" wide and then used 2 hose clamps one to the head unit and then other to the hat so far hasn't came off .

I made a bracket to hold mine up after it recently fell off and I ran the old one over..I took a universal exhaust hanger and put 2 hose clamps around it to the truck hat and then bolted it to the lower rad support.

Thanks for the help.
This is how i ran mine. I cut the truck hat and used flex tubing to run it to the front of the car. then i used pluming strap to support the hat.
