Need a new intake for boost. what one though?
hey guys i'm wanting a brand new intake and i was looking to buy a new ls6 intake but it's been discontinued. What other intake is capable of handling high hp and boost? I'm looking at around 1k rwhp and 25 or so # boost. I need it to fit with no clearance issues so i can still use factory hood and i'm not wanting to pay over $1k for the intake

no sir.. i have cathedral port heads on a forged/stroked ls3 witha s480 billet wheel makin in the ball park of 900wheel on 15-16psi thru a stalled auto and 9inch.... and this setup hasnt missed a beat. the intake can handle it for sure, itsa cast piece not some ebay welded together mani

Dyno test, LS6 vs Victor Junior intake.
LS6 make more power pretty much across the board. Magazine tests show similar results.
Still, with boost, the differences are probably not a concern.
