Its hard to tell but is there any way to get another puller in there? Or could you put the 2400 cfm as a puller? Basically pullers are better so the more you can improve on those the better. A shroud would be awesome but again dont know if you can fit it.

Would you expect anything different ?
As for the blanket sitting in front of the radiator...ie touching it. That will prevent any airflow/cooling via that section.
You need some other form of heat protection, that still allows airflow through the rad. Whether a solid shield or tighter fitting or modified blanket for the turbine side

From an engineering perspective, running a pusher and a puller simultaneously is a bad idea. It creates turbulence and is not efficient at doing its job. I modified the stock puller fans and clocked the compressor housing on the turbo to make the stock fans fit and I've never had overheating issues since. Unless you run 2 massive pushers, but it still wont be as good as dual pullers.

You certain you burped the system? I had this same issue, couldn't get the car to run cool, finally doing a 4 corner vent system cured it. Couldn't bleed the air out without it.

Oh ya do the 4 steam ports. Ive also heard that people that run their tunes lean can over heat although Id imagine that would be the straw that broke the camels back.

If it gets hot at only idling not while driving, you have air in the system or the water pump is bad. If it gets hot while driving, there's an inability of the radiator to cool the system down. Your fans should turn off after your at highway speeds, so that should tell you something as well.
I ran the two derale pusher fans with twins and never went over 209* in the southern summer heat with the popular griffin radiator.
