I placed my turbo in roughly the same spot, ran into a snag with the lower rad hose housing hitting my piping. I ended up just clocking the housing differently and using the stock bolts with some bigger washers to cinch it down. Just a heads up if you dont like the way your hose routing ends up

I ended up going to the auto parts store and staring at different hoses until i found one that would fit. I don't have a part number sorry. Do you have a link for the straight water neck your talking about?

Small update. I got the turbo piping and intercooler piping all tacked/clamped in place. I also got the wastegates mounted. I just need to cutoff the pipes so they don't hand down too low. This week I'll pull the engine again so I can fully weld the exhaust and engine mounts. I'll also pull the transmission and then put the shift kit in. I'll also paint both and then get the exhaust wrapped and then everything will be ready to go.

What is everyone doing for injector data on the Siemens Deka 80? I know I can get the info from a sloppy mechanics tune but I'd like to know how to do it myself. I tried searching hp tuners and everybody just said to buy Greg Banish's DVD but I think there has to be some help somewhere.

Injector data you plug in and it's done, which is why people use denmahs tunes for those numbers. You tune the tables like VE and stuff like that. I'm in the same boat as you. I have hp tuners and I'm slowly working away at the tune. I'm down in Provo by the way. If you ever head west holler at me!

Im going to hopefully get mine tuned soon at FNP performance in centerville. I emailed them and they said since i already have my ecu unlocked with my hp tuners credits, a full dyno tune would be $450

That's not bad at all, I have a friend that lives out that way and he recommended JDP. Have you heard anything good or bad about them?

I pressured up the fuel system and I had a bunch of leaks at the injectors. They are Siemens Deka 80's and the are leaking at the rail. They seemed to be installed right. I was able to get the clips on each one just fine. Do they need different o-rings maybe? Has anyone had a similar problem?

Some updates. I got the engine in and transmission shift kit put in. I made the mistake of taking the front cover off so I could get to the internals to add some springs. What a mess, looking back I wouldn't open up the internals unless I was going to do a full rebuild. I ordered a single disk torque converter from Circle D. Lots of other good options out there, I just really liked their customer service, and I didn't feel like they were trying to up-sell me or rip me off. I worked on getting the car started. I had a problem where everything seemed to work right, all the sensors and injectors, but the engine would not start and I couldn't get spark. Rechecked all wiring and checked the coils. With the key on, they had 12v and their two grounds. I checked all of the tune and it looked good. As it turns out the ignition wire I used to power everything was only hot with the key on, not while cranking. I got that fixed and it fired right up. Start up vid and pics below:

Trans crossmember ready for paint
Valve body ready to come off
What you do with your Trans when your stupid and take the front cover off.
Had a little run in between the tractor or and the Trans. I had a local guy weld it up
Trans finished up and waiting for the converter
Battery relocation to make room for turbo and computer
Throttle cable bracket cut and welded for use with the stock throttle cable
Down pipe started
Down pipe exit on drivers side
It all fits! 4" down pipe off of 3.5" divided housing on3 76mm

Its been a long time since I updated this. I've gotten a lot of things done. I have ended up spending a lot of time on getting the car trimmed out with carpet, roll cage, seats, interior, etc. That stuff takes way to much time and I would rather be doing all the fun engine stuff instead, but it all has to happen sometime. Pics...
The stock computer bracket is ginormous and doesn't fit anywhere. I trimmed it way down and then bolted it to a bracket that I made in the fender well.
Found a screaming deal on a set of 44" boggers so I had to take time out of the LS project to get the mounted on the Black Widow.
Trans cooler and electric fan. Mounted it where the drivers side muffler would have normally been.
Radiator hose routing. I had a local guy build me some adapters for the hose but I really didn't like the way it all turned out. It was ugly and way to close to the downpipe. More on that later.
So something I didn't know is that the water neck. mounting surface, and thermostat in an aftermarket water pump are different. All of the aftermarket water necks that I found were designed to work with an OEM pump, so that limits hose routing options. I made an aftermarket neck work but had to make my own gasket and silicone it in place, which just isn't that great of an option. Just something for people to keep in mind when they are putting things together.
Just liked this pic.
Everything in place.
^^This was at the end of September so there are more updates on the way.
