Default ZL1/LSA/CTS Supercharger on a budget

Hi,

Have some LS3 heads arriving next week. These are going atop my (stock)LS2 bottom end. Strongly considering starting to gather parts for a ZL1/LSA/CTS-V blower setup to gain low-RPM torque back.

I've seen plenty of affordable blowers/intercooler setups put there but can't figure out I there is an affordable way to put a drive system together. In my head, I am pricing this against a used Whipple or Magnusson(sp?) setup.

I'm currently running truck front accessories. Please give me your thoughts and/or experience with this type of setup. Is this going to be cheaper than a used complete kit in the end? Can I build(gather, really) a drive setup to run this cheaply?

Thanks in advance for your time. I'm a hair from buying a blower unit to get started but want to make sure this is realistic before I put any money into it.

Chris

Bump. Someone has this info or a thread I am missing. Seems like trick stuff might be doable since Camaro is same offset..or is the ZL1 different vs. LS3?

Thanks ahead of time for your time.
