Wow thanks, I just put that filter on a few weeks back. Im going to check it tonight, maybe that button can just be removed.

I would never use any filter like that, or one where there is a bolt passing through etc.

Very bad design.

I was looking at the real k&n filters that have that inverted cone. They dont use a plastic or metal button. Its basically molded rubber in the center. I may just change back to that style.

I drove my car to work yesterday and read this post at work. Was freaking out the whole way home, didnt get into boost once which is really hard for me to do.
