Turbocharger mounting angle
I'm working on a '55 Chevrolet turbo project and I'm curious if it's ok to mount the turbo at an angle rather than horizontal. Will it affect turbo oiling? If an angle is ok is there a max angle from horizontal that's safe?
Turbo is a BW S480 billet wheel from Forced Inductions and the engine is a 2004 LQ9.
This is my first '55 and also my first turbo car. I'm trying to package it to include vintage air conditioning and I'm running out of space. I was really kind of surprised at the lack of space, I always thought of these cars as big but that's not the case. Some angle in the mount would give me a better angle for the downpipe and some clearance on the AC compressor.

Unlimited-depending on the turbo.
If its an off the shelf journal or ball bearing turbo, keep it under 15.

If its an Oil-less BB or AirBearing turbo, you can literally mount it in any orientation.
