Matt,

First off....cool build...going to be really fun to watch!

On your other "sloppy" builds, what did you use for shocks/springs? Was it just a stock spring, cut coil with a stock shock or did you end up going with like a V6 spring and a drag shock? I was thinking about this on the way to work today and figured I would fire you the question before I forgot...

Best and looking forward to this build!
Dave

nearly all of my builds are original suspension from 1982 specifically in my fairmonts, i would only ever install a football or two softballs in the right rear spring so it couldnt squat that side so hard

It's been 5 days since an update on this thing. Which means it's probably got the new motor, transmission, 8.8, turbo, and been to the dyno a few times by now! Possibly already a couple 8 second time slips.....

This is awesome! I have a 2012 Colorado Crew Cab and its a great little truck but the five cylinder just doesn't have the power I need. I'd love to swap in a 400 hp LS with a cam and still keep all the amenities. Nothing crazy just some V8 power.

Are you keeping all the factory stuff working Denmah? Would it be possible for me to swap in a LS and keep everything factory you think? I thought a 5.3 with a maggie would be the cats *** lol.

Yeah he must. Hell, normally, he has already built, tuned and is looking for a different turbo or camshaft to change. Damn Colorado is too reliable in stock forum.
