What ratio rear gear are you planning on running?
I'd like to see you tuck at least a 275 tire under it.

They really should have offered those in a v8. Always liked the size and look.

OMG OMG OMG, this is going to be awesome! From someone who has a LS powered S10, I can really appreciate this. I will be particularly curious to see the "sloppy" side of this, knowing how difficult some of these can be. The nice part is, GM started making LS (5.3 only I believe) powered Colorados the last 2 or 3 years of that body style, so you could actually buy parts if you had to.

They made one with a 5.3 factory? Did not know. Prob a last ditch effort for sales a tad too late.

leaving it leaf spring, foot brake, we will see how it goes, i understand people sell caltrac, 4 link, ladder bar etc setups for them

ill check whats in the truck rear now, i think 3.55 would be nice. but if it has 3.73 or 4.10 i might just leave it in and see how it goes and get a taller tire

i already bought a 7875 not sure if i said that, i would love to have 500-700 tire adjustable with a tru boost in the car.

so i can race without getting kicked out then crank it.

also relatively punchy

Calvert makes them for colorados
I'm sure another company makes something similar, or you could make them yourself

Gonna have a hard time making it stick without something helping back there...lol

I'm using a gforce 2 boost controller
It does everything a truboost does, has a nicer user interface, has more presets, and is a little cheaper. Might check it out if you're buying a new controller and don't want something as fancy as a leash

I would highly suggest Caltracs or some sort of bar. My old 5 cylinder Colorado would wheelhop BAD even with just a cold air intake. Clamping the springs works well on full size trucks but I don't think they work as well on the 355 twins (Colorado/Cayon)

Caltracs do work awesome. They really don't affect the ride much either. I've had them on two leaf spring cars, one lost 2 tenths on the sixty, the other dropped 4 on the sixty. Well worth the 400 bucks. Plus calverts customer service is outstanding.
