Default zr1 2.3L lid on lsa/cts-v 1.9L blower

Ive been searching my *** off and cant seem to find a awnser. from looking at a million pictures it appears that the zr1 lid will fit on a lsa blower, but thats not always the case and with out the blower and lid here to find out i need some help. im ls swapping my 84 z28 and have the factory smc hood that i want to keep very badly, i know the zl1 lid will not clear. the zr1 lid has the lowest profile of them all and i just need to know if this lid can be adapted to the lsa blower. Im positive i can clear the hood with this lid so just looking for a solid awnser from somebody who knows. thanks guys and gals!

I have both. I'll check for you later today. Here are some pics of me mocking it up on my 91 Z28. It barely cleared the stock 91 Z28 hood. Not sure if your hood is any lower.

Thank you! This really helps seeing as you have a third gen as well. my hood should be the same or better off as the smc hood has no bracing right about where the blower will be. i can post a picture tonight when i get home. my issue is ill be using 1" thick adaptor plates to mount the blower to my 5.3 heads. damn small bore wont let me use rectangular port heads so ill still more than likely have to drop engine down in bay some to make it work, hopefully i can make it happen!

With the 1" spacer yea you might have to drop the engine. I don't think I havd that much clearance. I'll send some pics of the lids in a few.

Yea took the lid off from the 2300 and put it on the 1900. Bolts line up. So you should be good. How much do you get the ZR1/LS9 tops for? I'm looking for another one. Since previous owner grinded off the LS9 logo

not sure on the ls9 tops but brand new zl1 tops with brick go for like $330ish from jegs and there the "gm performance" top. used ctsv tops ive seen around 200+/- but there the only ones i seen used. the ctsv blowers are just soo cheap used $5-700 all day on ebay with out the top, or i would buy the ls9 blower and be happy with the 2.3 over the 1.9, but the 1.9 will do more than i need power wise for my car so im a happy man! glad to see the top works now im excited to get to that point in the build. just need to find a used ls9 top now lol thanks again!

Not sure who the question was directed to, but I didn’t lower my K member. Best decision I’ve done for my 4th gen ever. With this power it would be useless and dangerous to drive in the rain.

if your asking me, I ditched the whole thing. I'm building a 14:1 comp ls1 that is carb'd on e85. Sold all the fuel injection stuff and gave my free blower away for, well, free. So I'll never know. Sorry I couldn't be any help. If its any help I think the ctsv lid would clear as well, seeing as out dips down in the front.
