Preparing ls6 intake for boost questions
I've done a fair amount of searching and reading for what needs to be done to a factory ls6 intake and throttle body to prepare them for boost. As in what parts need to be reinforced, blocked off, or braced. Most of what I have found searching is "this intake vs ls6." Thank you for the help.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'll just throw her on there and let her eat then. I'll get a build log going sometime when I am able to put more work into the car. I'll replace the gaskets too because it's off right now.

I like to slather mine up with baby oil and make sweet love to it before I add boost. I find 3 pokes in each port hole to be sufficient, then I finish up on the TB opening.
Filing down the area right behind the lip and "ruffing" up the coupler contact area helps keep the couplers in place. Also you can see I filed back/clearanced some areas so a large "T" bolt clamp will fit nicely behind the bead.
Other than that, I plug the Valve cover breather and go to town. 25+lbs so far without issue.
