Made it to the shop this afternoon and we put in some work.
First thing is I picked up the bumper from my body guy and I couldnt be happier with the way it turned out.
(mufflers still not hooked to mid pipe)
New upper intercooler pipe, beaded at each end
Nozzle moved
Nice clean look, nozzle hides better
Wideband installed
Perfect location
Clearanced the cradle as I wanted everything tight and high so I can have the ground clearance.
Very happy with the progress we made, forgot to snap a pic but it's one piece from blower to intercooler. No ****.
Finishing up Sunday.

Hoped to get it finished today, but other projects kept my fab guy busy but we did get the cold side done. I did wrap up the LG spindle install(just have to trim the control arms). Got the bumper done and the inner fenders back in.
Fab guy finished up the lower pipe first thing and then got the wastegate done. Its one piece, no chance of ever leaking.
Tucks up quite nice.
Spindle install was a joy.
Shame you cant see them.
Bumper done.
He is going to get the exhaust done tomorrow, and possibly more. The countdown begins here is the list.
-trim control arms
-mount catch cans and trans cooler
-exhaust
-tin for radiator shroud
-finish and attach cold side, plumb wastegate
-test everything for functionality
-tune
-drive it

Fab guy came up with this trick new inner fender piece/trans cooler mount setup. Trans cooler is now solid mounted facing down with a draw fan pulling fresh air from the bottom up, and the factory hole in the bumper blows air in and carrys it out through these holes.
This is looking through the hole in the bumper toward the back of the car.
He also got the lower control arms trimmed and we test fir the wheel for clearance, should be good.
He also got the exhaust connected, but the tips are not lining up well, going to work on this.
Should be able to pick it up this weekend.

The update I have been waiting to post.
Picked it up from the shop today, albeit dirty, so what is the first thing to do, a bath of course.
Yup that's dirt.
Cleaned up pretty well.
Had an epiphany about the o2's and why it was running rough, so why not try right??
Figured I would fix the Hobbs switch while I was in here.
Pulled the extensions and hoosed the o2's up right.
It worked.
traction is an issue

Well I thought I would do by on my way home from dropping the car to be aligned and see the stripes on the tarmac, tire fryer for sure.
Also when i was dropping it off I goosed it turning the corner and it left its mark once again. LOL
Picked up a car cover from a local member and thought I would try it on, fits like a glove.
So it is pretty close to complete. Need to work on the clear bra removal (probably wait until winter), make a shroud, test fit 15's and make a trip to the track.

Well the new battery the previous owner put in about a month before I bought it is bad, no Pep Boys around here, luckily we are headed to OKC this weekend and I am going to get it swapped.
I did find a new old stock plate surround and it came yesterday.
It fills in around the plate, also STILL waiting on my plate to come from the State of MO.
Been driving the car quite a bit actually. Drove it home the other night, took it for a nice cruise to my mom and dads. It drives really nice and honestly drives like a stock auto car around town.
At the post office shipping packages.

Battery was new prior to me buying the car but was shot, and was bought at Pep Boys which we have none around here. So we headed to OKC over the weekend to visit my son at school and handy enough a Pep Boys was around the corner, so I snagged a new battery for free.
Finally carved out some time to work on it a little more.
15" RTS and Nitto NT555R's mounted and balanced
Had to do a ton of grinding.
Getting the template made for the upper shroud. My body guy did a bad a** job with this.

Had an annoying exhaust rattle I decided to tackle this morning. Come to find out the gaskets on the o2 plugs decided to disintegrate and loosen, so I pulled them cleaned them and put red Loctite on them. Likely explains the constant burning smell I had that is now gone.
Worked around the house for most of the day and the wife and I decided to go for a cruise this evening.
Just about 3 years apart between these two. Funny comparison between the the two pics, XJ cherokee in gray, Duramax in gray, Maxey Trailer in gray, matte white FRC. Fast forward a few years, Honda Pilot in white, Duramax in white, Maxey Trailer in white, electron blue Z06.
Had a driveway full this weekend.
